This endpoint accepts a pdf file and returns it signed and timestamped, guaranteeing that the content of the file is unaltered since the date when you send it to this endpoint.
Note 1: in sandbox endpoint, timestamp service is not enabled, so you will only see a Tecalis Signature certificate. In production environment, both certificate and TSA timestamp will be added to the result pdf
Note 2: this endpoint doesn't generate a signature operation as is only intended to certify the current status of a pdf.
We return the pdf signed at the moment and is your responsability to store it, serve it, send it, etc. We won't generate an operation (you won't see it in your Tecalis Signature Panel), we won't store a copy, we won't send it via email nor SMS, we won't generate an audit trail document or any other features related to regular signature operations involving signatories
Note 3: each successful call to this endpoint consumes one Simple signature operation credit. In case of success, we add a header in the response called "x-remainig-simple-signatures" so you can guess how many credits left your company has. If it reach 0 you will receive an http 402 response, except if your company is using postpay modality, in which case this value can go below 0 reflecting how many simple signatures you "owe" Tecalis
